CLINTON KOSH / CUSTOMER SUCCESS · Independent Egnyte-focused operating example

Own the customer.
Scale the practice.

I build strong customer relationships, and I build the operational discipline that helps more customers receive the same attention when it matters. This independent work sample demonstrates how I would approach secure content adoption, risk intervention, technical enablement and customer outcomes.

CUSTOMER NEED → SIGNAL → HUMAN JUDGMENT → ACTION → MEASURABLE OUTCOME

Where my experience connects

Customer ownership + CS operationsCHECK POINT / AVANAN

Carried customer relationships while building lifecycle tracking, onboarding workflows and health visibility. The operating system serves the customer, not the other way around.

Technical implementation + adoptionDEDRONE

Worked through complex implementations and use-case-specific onboarding. My focus: reach the first customer outcome, then make it repeatable.

Customer friction into product clarityCOFENSE

Owned technical product responsibilities for PhishMe Reporter on Lotus Notes and learned to translate deployment friction into practical documentation and a better handoff.

Scaled Customer Success · Demonstration

Synthetic account signals highlight where a human conversation is necessary. AI may summarize evidence, but the CSM validates context and chooses the intervention.

Customer Situations · Operating Decisions

These are independent synthetic scenarios grounded in common workflows. The response pattern is informed by my work at Check Point / Avanan, Dedrone and Cofense, not Egnyte internal customer information.

Construction · Remote field operations

Situation: Six project teams across multiple jobsites need large drawing files with inconsistent connectivity and folder permissions.

My approach: Map the actual file paths and workflows with the IT lead and project owner; identify whether hybrid caching, mapped drives or permission cleanup addresses the constraint; pilot one project before expansion.

Outcome checkpoint: Fewer failed file opens, successful mobile/field access, permission exceptions resolved, and named department champions.

Connection: Dedrone physical deployment coordination and technically diverse customer onboarding.

Financial services · Sensitive client material

Situation: An advisor team relies on external sharing, while an audit flags inconsistent permissions and orphaned links.

My approach: Establish the current sharing workflow and stakeholders, classify exposure by impact, work with the security owner on controls, then train users on a lower-friction approved path.

Outcome checkpoint: Reviewed sensitive links, reduced exceptions, ongoing collaboration, evidence ready for compliance review.

Connection: Check Point security adoption, permissions and risk-based customer conversations.

Biotech · Research document governance

Situation: Research teams and outside partners exchange controlled documents but struggle to demonstrate who reviewed each revision.

My approach: Work with quality and IT on the document lifecycle, map permissions and retention needs, pilot a controlled review workflow, and document exception handling before rollout.

Outcome checkpoint: Review completion, training uptake, fewer uncontrolled versions and traceable evidence.

Connection: Cofense product ownership and translating technical constraints into usable process documentation.

Horizontal · AI adoption without oversharing

Situation: A customer wants AI to accelerate document discovery but has mixed classification and uncertain permitted content boundaries.

My approach: Start with one useful question, verify sources and access rights, agree on human review and a limited pilot, then measure answer usefulness before broader exposure.

Outcome checkpoint: Time saved, reviewed answer quality, active users and zero unauthorized access in the pilot.

Connection: My automation work plus Customer Success experience managing adoption and technical risk.

Renewal risk · A quiet account

Situation: No QBR attendance, declining active users, support friction and a renewal approaching in 90 days.

My approach: Combine evidence from usage, unresolved cases and stakeholder changes; confirm the actual customer outcome; send a concrete finding rather than another generic meeting request; coordinate with the renewal owner.

Outcome checkpoint: Executive engagement restored, action owners assigned, value plan documented and risk trend improved.

Connection: Check Point / Avanan direct ownership and lifecycle systems.

New CSM enablement · Cross-time-zone handoff

Situation: A complex technical account changes hands across US and India coverage; the customer is repeating previous questions.

My approach: Create a short evidence-based handoff with customer goal, configuration facts, issue severity, commitments and a single next owner. Coach the receiving CSM using a real scenario.

Outcome checkpoint: No duplicated discovery, continuity across shifts, clearer ownership and faster resolution.

Connection: Cofense cross-time-zone product ownership and Check Point CS enablement.
